Master Bedroom Progress

Well, things are moving slowly but they're moving.  I'm trying not to rush any of my decisions on the pieces in this room.  I tend to change my mind after I've purchased things and at that point I can't return them to the store.

I showed you last week the progress of the sitting room.  We're still not sure about the desk I chose so we're waiting on another option to arrive before we make the final decision.  Other than that, this area is pretty much done.

I would like to do some sort of wall treatment like this.  I can't get it out of my head.  I love the molding and dark gray together.  I think the gray would be too much for this sitting area though.  I want to keep it light and bright.

The new chandelier is hung over the bed and I love it.  It gives a warm glow at night.

Since I did a gallery wall in the sitting area, I don't think I'm going to add one around the television like I originally said.  We need to hide the cords behind the wall like we did in the loft.  I hate seeing them dangling there.

I'm also on the hunt for new bedding.  The last bedroom update two years ago, I showed you this duvet.  I liked that duvet, but with all things, they tire out.  We've got something different now that's about a year old but I'm ready for something new.  I was hoping for a new headboard but I've got a few DIY ideas I'm thinking about.

So you can see we're going places.  I've got so many inspiration pictures in my head, it's hard to sort through them all and decide what I really want.  I've ordered and returned so many pieces.  There are empty boxes and wrappers covering the sitting area floor.  I know it's driving hubby crazy but I can't get rid of the mess until the room is complete.

I've got a few more pieces ordered in hopes that we can wrap up this room makeover.

Have a great weekend ya'll.
